Mentorship Program

Youth Science Mentorship Program 

Are you between 12 and 30 years old and curious about science, the environment, or hands-on research?
We’re inviting youth in Tofino to take part in a free Science Mentorship Program running from January to February 2026!

Participants will:

• Work with HFS scientists and mentors

• Gain hands-on experience in local research projects

• Build skills for school, careers, and community leadership

• Receive an $80 honorarium per day

This is a free program, and no previous experience is needed! Just curiosity and a willingness to learn.
